MeitY funded MAQAN (Metro Area Quantum Access Network) Consortium of IIT Madras, CDAC-Bengaluru, SETS Chennai and ERNET Chennai, demonstrates India’s first Quantum Network testbed in a 1 x 2 topology on 3rd May 2023. A quantum secure key, using the CoW protocol with a QBER < 10%, was used for video transmission over a classical link.  The demonstration was attended by MeitY officials and the Project Review and Steering Group.
